Here I have three museum piece iron prick spurs probably dating to the later Medieval period, c. 1300-1450.

Two of them are complete and one is missing a terminal. One of the complete examples retains a hooked buckle and integral plate that originally would have secured it in place, this has lovely striations as can be seen in the photos.

They could be mounted within a box frame and make an excellent talking piece but are also of sturdy enough construction to be handled regularly.
