Circa 1870, a Scottish mid Victorian mahogany column chest, also known as a Kilmarnock chest, configuration of 3 drawers over 3 with turned handles with mother of pearl inlay in the centre. All the drawers have flame mahogany fronts and the chest is standing on its original bun feet. The top drawer is shaped into the frieze and the foreedge of the chest is crossbanded. Exceptional quality wood.
