miniature georgian oak chest of drawers

An early Victorian period miniature oak chest of drawers with five drawers which all have dovetailed linings and have their original brass drawer knobs. The top lifts up to reveal a small compartment. This chest is beautifully made and would have been used either as a travelling salesman’s sample or by an apprentice to show off his skills. This would make an excellent jewellery box. Sizes:11 ¼ “(29cms) wide, 6 ½ “(17cms) deep, 11 ½ “(29cms) high. Date circa 1850.
