Circa 1900. A stylish and interesting Mashrabiya Moroccan corner cabinet. The top with a classic Arabic pattern inlaid with mother of pearl stars, the pierced top with a wave and carved section beneath, with three shelves each with blind fretwork patterns in the form of a diamond, and circular mother of pearl in the center, the tops arched with mother pearl and classic Arabic motifs, there is an inscription in the top section, which is dissected by a large mother of pearl and ebonized star, finishing on simple carved feet with pierced and inlaid quarter blocks.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981.
