Circa 1830. An interesting satinwood and inlay Dutch demi lune side table, the top in wonderful silky satinwood with shell inlaid in the center, checkered inlay, rosewood banding and wraparound checkered inlay gallery, the fore-edge in elongated inlayed strips of rosewood and satinwood with the frieze framed with a checkered inlay, resting on four elegant square tapering legs with satinwood and panels on the facing framed in boxwood, with a stylish shaped shelf towards the base with similar inlay to the top.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
