Orrefors Maja Collection Hand painted and signed by Eva Englund - a collection of 32 items
Eva Englund was born in 1937 and died in 1998. She joined Orrefors in 1974 and later in the ‘70s I bought a collection of her hand painted Maja art glassware to bring some colour into my otherwise monochrome studio-gallery. Along with my other crystal this collection has been stored away for the last thirty years, during which time Eva Englund’s work has become highly collectable.
These elegant glasses are made from handblown leadfree crystal and each delicately painted piece is signed by the artist.
All the items in this collection have their original labels with the exception of the smaller of the two bowls which I bought separately.
I am selling Eva Englund’s work as a collection (and not as individual pieces) I look forward to receiving your reasonable offer for this important collection.
