outstanding french original antique period armoire dated 1870 from quimper

This is a truly magnificent example of a French wedding armoire from the region of Quimper in Brittany France.
This armoire is dated 1870.
This is a marriage Armoire.
The armoire is richly carved with motives of birds called "glazics" which are the symbol of love and resurection.
There are also some beautiful carvings of flowers, foliage, geometrical designs of swirls.
Also a lot of religious carvings are ther to remind the influence in this region.
The armoire has its original patina which is a medium to golden oak.
The armoire has also some beautiful brass escutcheons with alos religious motives.

The armoire is of really good proportions, not overpowerful.
