Circa 1900 Outstanding quality Edwardian Sheraton-style inlaid mahogany cabinet bookcase. Surmounted by a moulded cornice, the frieze with satinwood crossbanding and shell and fan inlay. The 2 glazed doors with shaped astragals with bevel glass galzing and opening to interior with adjustable solid mahogany bookshelves. The base with 2 frieze drawers with gilded bronze swan neck handles and solid mahogany drawer linings over 2 cupboards with panel doors with further shell and fan inlay and satinwood, ebony and boxwood banding, all sitting on a moulded enclosed plinth base. Superb quality, possibly by Maple and Co of London.
