prestigious boulle clock on the column

Prestigious and extremely impressive, almost 2 meters high Boulle clock on the column.

An excellent replica, made in the second half of the 20th century with the highest attention to historical details,in the technique and style of Boulle, which is the most expensive and effective ebony style in history. Both the clock and the column are richly ornamented with complex Boulle style ornaments, made entirely in a labour-intensive metal inlaying technique. Additionally, the clock is decorated with numerous expressive fittings,two puttas located below the dial face of the digitizer blade and a crowning in the form of an impressive, openwork rocaille element. The column, in turn, is distinguished by a very impressive glazing of the entire front(so you can see the pendulum and three clock weights working in it)and a beautiful medallion with a bas-relief depicting a Gorgona head. The whole composition is complemented by separate porcelain tiles of each hour on the clock's digital plate. France
