Circa 1825 An unusual rectangular George IV mahogany breakfast table, the rectangular top with moulded fore-edge painted with 5 heraldic shields on a faux marble background with patterns and small arches and fleur-de-lys, the centre with a large painted medallion showing the crest of the union, resting on a bulbous mahogany stem issuing 3 hipped saber legs with concealed castors.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
