This is a pair of antique Drinking cups. An Italian, bronze over marble decorative goblet in Grand Tour taste, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

• Strikingly presented cups, with superb relief decor
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Beautifully time worn bronze presents dark tonality
• Ornate relief presents prominent morning glory flowerheads

• Pair of vine form handles sit beneath the wide, shaped rim
• Standing upon a shield shaped socle in black marble
• Dressed to the base with a protective leather pad
• Substantial in the hand at a weight of 1.71kg and 1.68kg respectively

This is a fine pair of antique drinking cups, with exceptional relief detail presenting Morning flowers. Popular in the Victorian period, they're also the birth flower for September. Delivered ready to display.
