Circa 1970 Quality pair of George III style mahogany open bedsides cabinets possibly by Arthur Brett of Norwich, the tops in fine figured mahogany with a shaped 3/4 gallery with pierced lifting handles to the sides and the back, the extended uprights finishing elegant roundel, the open fronts with a polished interior, all resting on four square legs with reeding on the fore-edge and chamfered on the inside.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
