Circa 1900. Unusual stylish patent oak and cast-iron reading table. The solid rectangular top with moulded fore-edge and metal bracket for holding papers in place. The top rests on an unusual and stylish cast iron base, the underneath with 3 handles for adjusting the angle, the height and rotation. The uprights with cut out rondels, all resting on a metal base of two splayed legs and two short legs, each finishing on small castors.
