Malacca was a bay colt foaled in 1856 by Ratan out of Alice. He was owned and trained by Tom parr and his most important victory was in the Cambridgeshire Stakes at Newmarket in 1856. The colt won at odds of 10 to 1 and was ridden by Hibberd.
