Rhind, John Massey - (b. 1858) Member of the National Sculpture Society, one of the foremost sculptors of his day, he was born in Edinburgh. He was active in the United Kingdom and the United States. Among his prominent works are: "Corning Fountain," was completed in 1899 and resides near the state capitol of Hartford, Connecticut; National McKinley Birthplace Memorial; Allegorical groups created by sculptor John Massey Rhind as spirits presiding over The Carnegie; Apollo Fountain, 1902, George Gould Estate Location: Georgian Court College in Lakewood, NJ; Grand Army of the Republic, monument honouring Dr. Benjamin Franklin; Four Sculptures at Princeton University
