Although both carved onyx lights has some minor abrasions to their surface’s these abrasions are not sufficient to distract the eye. Because these lights have been carved from a solid block of onyx, to prevent over heating of the inner lamp and bakerlite holder, a miner air vent has been inserted into the tops of the solid onyx to allow the heat to escape.Each solid onyx light weighs approximately 2kilos and their art-deco design simply transcends the decades into today’s modern life.
