Private seller mid-20th century very handsome high gloss white ceramic umbrella holder, 49cm high by 19cm circumference at the top designed in the form of a lion. This umbrella holder although not perfect, is still in very good condition and has no chips around the opening at the top. However, it does have a small and virtually unnoticeable chip on the extreme of the base at the rear of the lion, there is also a long fin imperfection mark on the base probably caused when in the firing kilim and similar in appearance to a very fin crack.

So, whether used for umbrellas or just enjoyed as an attractive ceramic piece, this white lion would make an endearing addition wherever he is placed within any modern home.
