Circa 1850. George III style mahogany bureau bookcase. Surmounted by a stepped cornice, the upper section with twin glazed doors with finely shaped astragal glazing opening to bookcase with adjustable shelves. The inlaid bureau flap, opening to a fine interior with pigeon holes, drawers, cupboards and secret drawer above four graduated drawers with brass swan neck handles, all on a neat moulded base with shaped bracket feet. Excellent craftsmanship.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
