Circa 1860. Quality pair of mid-Victorian carved mahogany ladies and gents chairs. Both with spoon backs with button upholstered panels. The gents chair with curved and partially upholstered scrolled arms and with acanthus carved fronts. The ladies chair with moulded back frame finishing on a scroll at seat level. Both supported on beautifully foliate carved cabriole legs with white porcelain and brass castors. In excellent condition and original colour and patina. (less than 50% of their price 10 years ago)
