A rare and very attractive porcelain model of a linnet from the Furstenberg factory in Germany, produced around 1760-70. Finely modelled, the bird perches on a tree stump. Hand-painted in tones of red, brown and blue with green highlights to the stump. The base bears the underglaze blue, hand-written F mark. In excellent, original, sound condition with only minor losses of enamel on one foot and the tail. Please note: the purchase price includes postage and packing.
