rare georgian plate stand

Rare and unusual Georgian Mahogany Plate Stand in excellent condition. This dates from the beginning of the 19th century and has many interesting features. The baluster gallery is most attractive, the patina is original, and the stand is supported on a fine 4-splay base, with the original castors. The circular section would have been used for plates, and the other compartment for cutlery. This would make a delightful plant stand. English, circa 1800.
