rare kilarney deer hoof snuff box/folk art.

A very rare snuff box made from a deer hoof, Killarney lakes embossed on the lid in possibly silver , unfortunately the lid has some damage a small piece has sheard of along the grain of the hoof still not effecting the rarity or beauty of the box, circa 1870 a wonderful piece of folk art.
Provenance Ballyrankin House Co Wexford Ireland used by Lieut col S G Higginson of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers (By family repute).
