    This fine Regency period card table is a beautiful example of late Georgian style and craftsmanship.
    The top is veneered with flame figured georgian mahogany, and framed with a crossbanded border of rosewood edged on both sides with boxwood stringing. This is repeated on the facing edges of both leaves. The frieze has a delicately inlaid design of fine rosewood lines and trifoliate decoration, set within fine figured mahogany veneer.
    The legs are well turned, and tapered with a reeded design, finishing with elegant teardrop shaped feet.

     
    Both rear legs have their original knuckle joints which open at 45 degrees to support the top leaf, The hinges to the leaves are original also and show no sign of damage.
     
    Inside, the top opens to a beautifully shaped card surface, with a newly replaced light grey baize framed with border of cross banded mahogany and boxwood stringing.
     
    Dimensions:36 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 29 inches high.
    When open, 36 inches x 36 inches. 28 inches high.
