This attractive button back nursing chair is solid and dates from around the late 1800's. It has mahogany turned legs to the front and splayed legs at the rear, all retaining their original brass and pot castors. The show wood is in excellent condition.

The chair is stuffed with original horse hair and it has a sprung comfortable seat. It has been upholstered in the last 15 years in a pink linen type fabric, with a nice texture and weave in shades of pink. It has a fixed valance / skirt around the bottom. The fabric shows no wear or tear but could benefit from a clean, we could also recover it if you wanted to use our upholstery service and we could arrange to send fabric samples in the post.Overall, this period chair would make a lovely addition to any spare corner in a room.
