Circa 1930’s. A walnut and burr walnut chest with the maker label ‘Andrew Thompson & son furniture manufacturer LTD Glasgow.’ The top with a glass preserve and small shaped upright to the back with a dragoon fore-edge with a configuration of 2 short over 4 full length graduating drawers, all with burr walnut facings and cast brass knobs with elegant back-plates, beneath the bottom drawers simple moulding and the chest rests on 4 squat cabriole legs with shell carved knees.
