Circa 1810, Scottish mahogany sarcophagus shaped wine cooler. With a flat top which allows it to be used as a coffee table or for lamps, above a concave section and classic Scottish beaded fore-edge. Inside are 3 divisions and the original patent lock; the exterior has a ribbing framing the front and sides, with canted corners and quality lion mask lifting handles with ring pull mouths to the sides. All standing on slightly raised, well-formed paw feet.
