Circa 1820, exhibition quality, Scottish Regency rosewood ledge-back chiffonier. With well figured rosewood top and tier, and beaded edges; the top tier is held in place by scrolling arms with a mirror back section back framed with further beading. The full length drawer with a central, large carved flower and flower heads either side, standing on two large scrolling legs with acanthus leaves to knees, foliate carving to sides, and ribbed section above a curled toe. The back legs are rectangular, finished in rosewood and on a concave, enclosed plinth with an unusual, patterned, tapered beading.
