ITEM 1547 DESCRIPTION
A set of five Royal Doulton porcelain plates. Decorated with Autumn studies from the Royal Mail Collection. Designed by Charlotte Knox with printed marks. The Doulton factory was founded in 1815 to produce drainage, sanitary wares, and some domestic wares. It was producing decorative wares by the second half of the 19th century. These decorative plates are from a series made for the Post Office. Circa 1993. UK POSTAGE
