Circa 1890. A set of 15 late Victorian walnut dining chairs, consisting of 13 side chairs and a pair of armchairs. The top curved rail which is reeded and ribbed is supported with upright spars and shaped curved supports. The armchairs have reeding padded arms supported on ring turned and tapering uprights, the chairs have large stuff over upholstered seats finished with gimp. A simple seat rail, back legs are square and slightly out swept and front legs are turned, ring turned and tapering finishing with brass collar and castors.
