Circa 1860. An unusual and stylish set of four brass and gilded French tie backs. The tops with a folded pierced ribbon and a quiver and a flaming torch in X formation, a shaped arm with Rococo casting style on the top and on the base finishing with a downward facing pineapple. There are also four smaller cast and gilded brass hooks for hanging the curtains on plus some other associated pieces.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
