A fabulous set of rare chairs attributed to George Bullock, celebrated designer / cabinet-maker of the late 18th / early 19th century. These date to around 1815.

Photograph 2 shows comparisons of the inlay work with other known pieces...LEFT: 1: design from the Wilkinson Tracings (Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery).
2: Marquetry on a medal cabinet (Metropolitan Museum, New York).
