A set of eight Regency mahogany and brass inlaid sabre leg dining chairs, consisting of six side chairs and two armchairs, the shaped top rail carved and having a brass inlaid panel, wonderfully shaped and carved central rail, the armchairs having reeded scroll arms, a grey fabric drop in upholstered seat, reeded decoration of the front seat rail, supported on sabre legs. Fabulous quality and a very stylish design. Circa 1820.
