Seven various pewter lidded flagons, four dated 1788, of standard classic form with hinged lid scrolling lifting handle with an out-swept tail, most have the makers mark stamped to the inside of the, including ‘Gardner,’ all with good colour patination (1 loose lid).

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
