A pair of attractive hard-paste pearl porcelain shellfish plates with gold decoration as illustrated.... attibuted to the Sevres factory circa 1852 but this has to be confirmed as factory mark is very faded and thus difficult to read. In addition to the factory mark one plate is marked with a Roman 'II N X' and the other with a script 'G X'. One has a small 60 mm chip on the underside lip but otherwise good condition.
