sheraton style mahogany and marble wash stand

Circa 1890, exhibition quality Sheraton style mahogany and inlaid, marble topped wash stand. The raised back has an architectural pediment with boxwood inlay and a shaped shelf with a moulded edge, with the top and back splash in red and grey mottled marble. Beneath are 2 cupboards with inlay doors and oval cast brass handles. Standing on 4 tapering legs with further string inlay and brass cups and brass castors beneath.
