Gilltwood Mirror, Spanish Colonial, Scalloped Frame and Mosaic Mirror Inlays. Spain, 1940s-1950s. The gilt frame was richly carved from solid wood and it features seven layers of mirror mosaic inlays surrounding the central squared mirror panel. It has a terrific aged patina showing its original gold leaf gilding.
