This showstopper antique Victorian ring has a cluster of 15 Old European Cut diamonds housed in an iconic Navette-shaped gallery. This ring features open claw settings which allow light to travel through the underside of the ring’s head which shows off the diamonds to their full potential.
Old European Cut diamonds have larger facets than modern brilliant cut diamonds, giving them more dimension and a more present feel.
The ring is marked "ADM 18" with the remains of a possible hallmark, Gothic "G", tests as a minimum of 15ct gold with part of the setting assessed as silver. The condition has been assessed as good.
The principal diamond is 0.46ct with a clarity of I1 and a colour of G/H. The surrounding diamonds have a clarity of VS to I1 and a colour of F/G.
