This is a fine example of beautiful Troika pottery
It is a rare Celtic Cross Vase and is decorated by Simone Kilburn, who only worked for Troika for a short while from 1975 to 1977, providing an element of rarety in the number of her pieces.
The Troika pottery was originally established in St Ives in 1963, and from 1970 the pottery was moved to Newlyn. This was manufactured in the Newlyn pottery.
The piece is in pristine condition, no chips, cracks or repairs and has the usual Troika pottery makes on the base alongside the decorators mark.
The colours are vivid, being mainly blue on a white base.
