Circa 1880. Unusual Regency style giltwood convex mirror with glass ball decorations. Surmounted by a finely carved giltwood eagle, the circular mirror with its original convex mirror plate in perfect condition surrounded by a fluted slip and convex frame with unusual glass ball decorations. The back bearing the label ‘Aitken. & Son, May 1842, Carvers and Gilders, 28 South Castle Street, Edinburgh’.
