An unusually tall, iridescent drip-glazed Linthorpe Pottery vase c1885. Footed vase with tapering cylindrical body and wavy flared everted rim. Simply sumptuous drip-glaze colours and surface iridescence to the vase. Impressed Linthorpe Pottery mark and design number 2182. The vase measures 45 cm in height.
This vase is in excellent overall condition commensurate with age. Minimal crazing. No chips, cracks or restoration. Minor glaze flaws from original firing and extremely minor signs of age. Stilt marks to base from kiln firing. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
