Sn2803 Exceptional Victorian, pollard oak, 2 piece bedroom suite, stamped by J. Manuel & Son, 1874
The 3 door wardrobe having fan shaped outswept, carved cornice above frieze with ebonised mouldings and flowerheads carvings, mirrored centre door enclosing sliding trays (alternatively short hanging section) and drawers, further inlaid and panelled doors enclosing long hanging sections, flanked by canted corners, all fitted with original knobs and standing on moulded plinth base.
The dressing table having swing mirror in arched and satinwood inlaid frame raised on shaped supports terminating in fabulous pollard oak top with chevron inlaid edge and 8 graduated drawers ( 1 being double) all united by shaped, inlaid apron, standing on plinth base.
This bedroom set has been in our workshop where it has been sympathetically restored, it retains original finish, colour and patina. All in fantastic condition throughout, ready to place at home. 1874
