Circa 1860. An early Victorian mahogany breakfront open bookcase, the stylish moulded cornice with foliate carving including acorns to the corners, the rounded facing with an elegant scratch carving, the top 3 sections each with 4 adjustable shelves, the base follows the form of the top with similar carving on the fore-edge with 4 doors with foliate carving on the top and quarter sawn oak panels, with a shelved interior, all resting on an enclosed oak base. This bookcase has approximately 13 meters of linear shelving.
