Circa 1860 (with adaptations) Victorian Burr-Walnut three-section, tall open bookcase with lovely colour and patina. Surmounted by moulded cornice above a frieze in figured walnut, the three open bookcase sections each with four adjustable shelves separated by vertical pilasters. The bookcase sides with rounded corners, all sitting on a moulded and enclosed plinth base, in excellent condition.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
