SN2441 Superb quality, Victorian burr and figured walnut cylindrical Davenport, having shaped and concave lift up paper compartment, cylindrical fall which opens to reveal 2 small drawers, sliding writing surface and pen trays, single cupboard door enclosing 3 shelves, flanked by carved columns, all standing on original, brass castors. This unusual Davenport is sainwood and boxwood inlaid throughout. c1870
