Victorian Mahogany 3-Tier Etagere or 'What-Not' with Single Drawer Base

A good quality small mid Victorian mahogany 3-tier etagere or 'what-not' in very good condition, with finely ring-turned supports throughout, terminating in outstanding finials and resting on turned feet and the original brass cups & casters, with three tiers of figured veneer, the lowest incorporating a shallow cabinet with a single drawer fitted with turned pull-handles, this beautifully proportioned etagere will charm in the most elegant of homes, whether period-furnished or more contemporary in style, fully-deserving of the envious attention it will certainly attract.

    Width 45cm x Depth 34.75cm (17.75" x 13.75") & O/All Height 106cm (41.75")

    Height of 3 Tiers 26.5cm, 63cm & 100cm (10.5", 24.75" & 39.5")

This piece dates from around1860-80, so you may expect the mature character & patina of age, together with wear & tear commensurate with normal use, including the odd blemish and a small loss to the lower ring moulding to the front LHS support but, otherwise, it's in very good, clean & sound condition, ready to use in your home.
