Circa 1870, Victorian nursing chair by Mackenzie and Crosbie, Edinburgh. It has the makers name stamped on the outside back leg. With an upholstered back leading on to an upholstered seat with a piped edging. The back has a curved top rail and the two back legs are slightly outswept and then downward facing with brass and white porcelain castors. The front legs are turned at the top with a small pattern carved into the top of the vase shaped leg, finishing with white porcelain castors matching the back legs.
