victorian rosewood writing slope

Victorian figured Rosewood Writing Slope in wonderful condition and is inlaid with mother of pearl. The lid is in two parts and opens to reveal a fitted interior, The upper part of the lid has an oval Mother of Pearl escutcheon and original working key. The top section is fitted for writing equipment. Ink pots are replacements and the writing surface is not in very good condition (images available) otherwise a very clean example.
