Circa 1860. A carved Victorian walnut centre table. The top with diamond pattern framed with boxwood with a broad burr-walnut banding, the fore-edges profusely carved and a shaped frieze with extended C scrolls. The table rests on three elegant profusely carved legs (adapted) with scrolling top with shell on the facing and foliate carving beneath, the top section convex and the bottom section concaving, finishing on a curled foot with foliate carving beneath. The table has excellent colour and patination.
