Victorian walnut writing slope with brass corners, vacant cartouche and matching escutcheon. There's a working lock and key and it opens to reveal a quality black toooled and embossed skiver, pair or inkwells, a pen tray, lidded compartment and nib compartment. There is a lock on the top writing board but no key. Inside there's a concealed spring loaded panel that opens to reveal three secret drawers.

This is a good slope in good condition but some of the brass shows signs of age related knocks and wear. Not as perfect as our usual stock but very acceptable.
