warka vase

This is a Warka vase is over 100 years old and based on an original design from the ancient Sumerian city of Uruk, ca. 3200-3000 BC, now in southern Iraq. The original Warka vase is now in an Iraqi museum. I believe this is a later reproduction of a similar design. Material appears to be alabaster, probably late 19th / early 20th century.

There is has been some damage previously to the vase but has now been repaired. You can see this in the last two photos. Please let me know if you need any further information.
